Welcome to the STAR (Starting Together... Arriving Ready) Program

The STAR Program is an early learning program for parents and their children birth to five years old, before they begin school.

Children are born ready to learn and they learn the most from their parents.  Parents are their child's first and most important teachers.  STAR offers assistance and support for parents as they teach their children during the years before they start school.

New research proves that infants learn more in the first three years of life than at any other time.  Early preschool programs for children under the age of three have been found to make a significant difference in children's mental and motor abilities.  The earlier the investment in the child's use and understanding of their language, the greater the return.  All parents want their children to be successful. STAR can serve as a partner with parents.
